PROTECTED PEACE

“mY PEACE IS INACCESSIBLE TO DISRUPTION, DISTRACTION AND DISregard.”

~ Leah Shephard

“Let the peace of Christ [the inner calm of one who walks daily with Him] be the controlling factor in your hearts [deciding and settling questions that arise]. To this peace indeed you were called as members in one body [of believers]. And be thankful [to God always].” Colossians 3:15 AMP

Perfect Peace is available.

What needs to be stilled… your thoughts? emotions? voices? Today is about acknowledging the storm. Speaking to your storm and accepting the peace of God which has already been released to you. Do you have a place to unwind, unpack, unravel?

I am aware of complexities that challenge our peace. I’ve learned to exchange the facts with the word of truth. Here’s one of my favorite recorded truths “I leave the gift of peace with you—my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts— instead be courageous.” (John 14:27 TPT) Jesus gifted you His perfect peace.

Peace takes courage. You can pursue it with all men or allow all men to disturb your peace. You have the authority to command Peace to be still.

I courageously agreed with God (I pray you will) and my peace, like my heart has become diligently protected. It is inaccessible to disruption, distraction and disregard. I trust God to strengthen you in the storm, comfort you through the pain and to deliver you from all afflictions. There is an inner calm that those who walk daily with Christ possess.
